Passed suddenly on December 30, 2020, at the age of 72. Preceded in death by his parents, Mary (Tarsovich) Kollar and father, George Kollar, Sr. Survived by beloved wife, Deborah (Dragovich) Kollar; daughter, Leah (Kollar) Maretsky and son-in-law, James Maretsky; grand puppy, Charlee; sisters, Patricia Peles (William), Michele Kollar-Reeder both from Johnstown; also survived by nephews, niece and many Godchildren. George was a graduate of Johnstown High School, Ivy School of Art. George was a veteran of the US Army. George was heavily involved in the arts, (photography). He was a member of the Associated Artists and Pittsburgh Society of Artists. George sang in the folk group at St. James in Wilkinsburg, PA. His jovial spirit, laughter and kindness made him loved by all who he met.
