Agora Gallery will once again be exhibiting works from the winning artists who participated in The Latin American Contemporary Fine Art Competition. The exhibition will be running at Agora Gallery’s White Space Chelsea location from December 10 - December 20, 2019 with an opening reception on Thursday, December 12, 2019 from 6-8 PM.

The Latin American Contemporary Fine Art Competition affords up-and-coming Latin American artists an opportunity to gain valuable exposure for their artwork as well as open up a path to a wider international audience. More than $55,000 in prizes are available to participants in an effort to foster their talent and allow them to evolve into successful professional artists. Twenty-five artists have been chosen to have their art pieces displayed and ten digital artists will have their work viewed in a slideshow presentation during the exhibition’s run. The mediums represented in the competition include painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, mixed media, and print.

Artists from Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain, Portugal, the Latin American diaspora, or foreign artists living and working in any of these regions/countries at any stage of their careers were invited to participate in the competition. A rotating panel of expert jurors, each representing a different field in the art world to ensure a fair and balanced selection process, reviewed the Submissions.

Agora Gallery White Space Chelsea is located at 555 West 25th Street (street level). The Latin American Contemporary Fine Art Competition will run from December 10 to December 20, 2019 with hours from Tuesday through Saturday 11am – 6pm. Entrance to the gallery is free.
