Biophilia is humans’ love for other lifeforms. It’s why we cultivate flora and fauna and immerse ourselves in nature or bring it inside, nurturing house plants and pets. And it’s why now more than ever we crave, capture and collect natural imagery.

Opening May 21st, Biophilia is an exhibition celebrating the natural world. As the weather warms and many of us continue to shelter-in-place and self-isolate, 30 artists offer us our daily nature prescription in paintings and drawings of everything from abundant landscapes to a few sprouts peeking out of city sidewalks.

Join us at Sugarlift.com and @sugarlift on IG for curator-led tours of the 3D virtual gallery, plus a host of artist conversations and other digital events. Participating artists include Alex Merritt, Alonsa Guevara, Eileen Murphy, Maude White, Nicolas V. Sanchez, Tiffany Bozic and many more. Co-curated by Dina Brodsky.

Biophilia is the first of Sugarlift’s #allforartists campaigns in 2020. 100% of each sale will go to artists to support them during these challenging pandemic times.
