In October Partners Gallery is exhibiting the art of Karen Fenley.
Karen Fenley's new work confronts the viewer with bright transparent layers of color bisected by calligraphic lines and shapes as she explores the challenges of communicating in the current world.
In a process incorporating drawing, painting and collage, with works titled 'Hearing Voices', 'Zoom', 'Between Fact and Fiction' and 'A Wordless Stele', she reflects on her focus of messaging through the invention of her own symbolic language.
There is a Second Saturday Meet the Artist from 5-7pm
Partners Gallery has recently reopened in the historic Beacon Building at 45062 Ukiah St. in downtown Mendocino. Hours are from 11-5pm Thursday through Monday. Masks required.
