The L.A.C.E.R Afterschool Programs provide free classes in the arts, athletics, and academics every day after school, to more than 4,000 middle and high school students in Los Angeles. L.A.C.E.R. is creating opportunities, building academic skills, and preparing students for their future.
Curator :
Ewkuks and LACER Afterschool Programs have teamed up to present a one of a kind art exhibit. Professional artists and LACER’s middle school artists were asked to create artwork based on the theme; “If I Were President…”
The exhibition will show the students work alongside the professional artists. Ewkuks and LACER are proud to give the artistic community as well as young artists a platform to share their views on culture, politics, relationships and the inner self.
The will be running from May 2nd through May 14th
Opening Night Reception on Saturday May 5th 6:00-8:00pm.
The community is invited to experience how children vision our world!
