JOAN BURLEIGH: ENTERING A NEW LAND
ACRYLIC ON PAPER MOUNTED ON PANEL
AUGUST 31 – OCTOBER 2
FIRST FRIDAY RECEPTION SEPTEMBER 1, 5-8PM
In September Partners Gallery presents “Entering a New Land” featuring works by Joan Burleigh.
In honor of her 80th birthday, Burleigh’s exhibition of primarily new abstract paintings explores the realm of love and light with works of luminescent color. . The new land refers to the years of the 80's and beyond which Burleigh hopes will be a time of spiritual exploration in both her art and life. Focusing through her art on being present and painting what is in her heart is the goal.
Partners Gallery is located at 335 N. Franklin Street in Fort Bragg and is open Wednesday through Monday 10 am to 5 pm and Sundays 10 am to 4 pm.
