Celebrate the Southern California Artist Community in Lux’s Linda Formo Brandes Gallery through a reception and artist talk by local artist Darel Carey.
Darel Carey investigates the human perception of space through the use of quotidian mediums. His exhibition at Lux will explore how straight lines can transform into curves, building a tromp l’oeil in three dimensions. In this instance, Carey will be utilizing common tape as a tool to alter our perception of the galley space and reconsider topics of systems, patterns, and data accumulation.
