Artist ( Description ):

Drawing from her childhood in Wales, Catrin Perih finds inspiration from family photographs – the kind that everyone has stuffed in a drawer or an old album and which gradually become part of a family’s visual history. The paintings are an emotional response to these photographs, a memorial to childhood and the places and people that make up one’s formative years.
