Summer Pre-College Portfolio Exhibit

High School students participating in the Art League of Long Island’s 26th Annual Summer Pre-College Portfolio Program exhibit works created during their time in the summer program. A comprehensive, high quality art portfolio is a requirement for entry into the top art colleges in the U.S. The high school students participating in the Art League’s summer portfolio prep program work hard to build on their portfolios, creating artwork that meets the requirements which include drawing from the model and a well-rounded representation of the various visual arts mediums encompassing drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture.

The exhibit takes place in the League’s Jeanie Tengelsen Gallery, a state-of-the-art bi-level gallery known to host locally and internationally acclaimed artists.   The Jeanie Tengelsen Gallery is open free of charge Tuesdays & Thursdays 10am-8pm, and Fridays & Saturdays 10am-3pm.
