What: Claudia Tarantino grew up in San Francisco and received her BA in Art from Domincan College of San Rafael, CA. After many years of supporting herself as a full time production potter, she transitioned into working exclusively in porcelain. Claudia now focuses on trompe l’oeil still life sculptures.  A two-time recipient of Marin Arts Council Individual Artist Grants, her work is exhibited nationally and her sculptures are in many private collections and museums. Claudia lives in San Anselmo, CA with her husband, artist Bill Abright.

Julia Feld, a San Jose, California artist, was born and raised in Russia. Concurrent with High School she attended a four-year Art School but took a different path at the university level and became a scientist. As an undergrad, she studied chemistry and technology that later became a foundation for her interest in the technical aspects of ceramics. As a grad student, she studied developmental psychology that has influenced the conceptual aspect of her work.

Julie Clements works out of her home studio "Clay Pigeon Ceramics" in northern California. She began exploring clay art and sculpture during her undergraduate study at Emory University. Post-graduation she continued learning and developing during a year-long internship at Callanwolde Fine Art Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Current themes in her work include explorations into animals, ecology, and science. She also works as a veterinary technician in zoo medicine part-time. As a "zoo tech"  Julie continually renew her interest in the animal world.  She hopes to convey her intense interest in animals in all their unique forms.
