Work @ Play is a group show that seeks to reignite and engage the perhaps latent childlike,
playful sense of wonder and imagination in the viewer. Paintings of toys, dream like landscapes,
nightmare scenarios, joyful material exploration, caricatures and doodles are the message and the medium.
Paradoxically, these artists maintain their innate sense of play through rigorous studio practices;
spending countless hours mastering their craft and honing their skill to produce playful, whimsical,
quirky, absurd, and flat out funny paintings, sculptures and works on paper. It takes a lot of work
to have this much fun!
