Michi Meko: Out Here by Myself

Join us for the opening reception of acclaimed Atlanta Artist, Michi Meko. Recipient of the Joan Mitchell Foundation Grant, Atlanta Artadia Award, and the Working Artist Project for the Museum of Contemporary Art, Georgia, Meko returns to Alan Avery Art Company for his second solo exhibition.
In a statement, Meko says, "My interest is in the out there. Not the unusual - the untold. I am in a quest for ascension. The work is an arrival of a new way to navigate landscapes and environments, a voyage of isolation, mapping through darkness to find light. The quest for blackness without boundary."
