Friday, 1 May 2020

The 32nd California Advancement of the Ceramics Art Conference will be offered free and online May 1st – 3rd! The annual ceramics festival, hosted by the John Natsoulas Center for the Arts will continue to bring the leading national and international ceramics artists for a weekend of creative instruction and collaboration.

The John Natsoulas Center for the Arts will be holding a free, larger scheduled event with more participants than ever. Instead of six artists, there will be 15 from all around the world. Participants will receive an online, live experience of artists giving lectures, demonstrations and tours of their own studios via Zoom. The featured artists will be Yana Payusova, Sean Henry (England), Lisa Reinertson, Esther Shimazu (Hawaii), Kevin Snipes, Wanxin Zhang, Paolo Porelli (Italy), Adrian Arleo, Margaret Keelan, Chris Riccardo, Michelle Gregor, Arthur Gonzalez and John Toki.  The weekend events will also include a gallery tour and a live performance by Cold Shot.

Staff has been working tirelessly to bring everyone together during this difficult time. They were eager to maintain the original dates of the conference and continue the ceramics conference after 32 years of tradition. For updates, schedules, artist bios and to register for the online conference please go to https://www.natsoulas.com/ccaca.

“We send all of our love to the ceramic community and hope everyone stays healthy and safe. We encourage this time for artists to be creative and create beautiful work.” John Natsoulas Center for the Arts
