ELIGIBILITY Donate $100 to the Pacific Art League and show off your best work! Each $100 donation entitles the artist to display one piece. Open to all media except installation. We will accept art until we reach capacity. Sponsorships accepted and available.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE Entries may be submitted from July 18th through August 24th, 2017.

AWARDS 1st: $500, 2nd: $250, 3rd: $150, People’s Choice: $50, and 4 Honorable Mentions

JUDGE Steve Curtis graduated from Stanford with honors in a special program in Design that included art and engineering. In addition to courses in Mechanical Science and Technology, he studied studio art with Matt Kahn, Nathan Oliviera, and Keith Boyle. After graduation, he studied for 10 years with Alfredo D’Annunzio, a noted Bay Area painter. In 2010 his solo show in the Norton Gallery/Pacific Art League was named one of the Top Ten Art Events of the year, by the Palo Alto Weekly. In 2011, Steve received the Artist of the Year award, Senate District 11 (Silicon Valley). He teaches Tutoring in Painting at the Pacific Art League in the Fall and Spring. He shows his art in Gallery 9 in Los Altos and teaches at PAL.  
 
HAND DELIVER ACCEPTED WORK Thursday and Friday, August 24th and 25th, 10AM to 4PM. All work must be hand-delivered to PAL. 3D and 2D work accepted.  No shipped work will be accepted.

PICK UP WORK Friday and Saturday, September 29th and 30th, 10AM to 4PM

SUBMISSION PROCESS Submit your artwork electronically at https://pacificartleague.submittable.com/submit or fill out form on back and return to front desk.

ENTRY FEE Stars: $100 tax-deductible donation per artwork. Super Stars: $250 tax-deductible donation per artwork. Sponsor artists for $100 or donate any  $ amount.

EXHIBITION GUIDELINES * All work must be original. All 2D work must be ready to hang on a wire, and framed or on gallerywrapped canvas with finished edges. All work must be labeled on the front and back with title and artist’s name. Size is limited to 36” Length or Height. * All work must be for sale. Members receive 70% of sale price. Non-members receive 60% of sale price.

CHILDREN’S GALLERY Artwork by children (under 18) is welcome. Parents, grandparents, or friends may submit work on behalf of children under the same guidelines as above. Please indicate on submission form if a child creates the artwork.
