Holiday Art Market-Call for Artists

Take part in PAL’s Holiday Art Market! This show is intended to encourage our gallery visitors to buy original works and start collecting, or as gifts during the holiday season. To apply please submit works which are affordably priced. All fine art media including ceramics and glass are encouraged to apply. Artists who are selected may be asked to bring in additional work as pieces sell. PAL may be open on select weekends and extended holiday hours. (Submission details below)

Sheryl Nonnenberg is an art researcher/writer who has lived and worked on the Peninsula for over 30 years.  She holds degrees in art history and museum education from Northeastern University, George Washington University and a Master of Liberal Arts from Stanford.  She has worked for private art collector Chara Schreyer for 17 years.  Previously, she was employed by the Anderson Collection as a curator.  She was also the Cultural Arts Supervisor for the City of Sunnyvale, where she oversaw two municipal art galleries.

 ENTRY FEE

Members: $40 for first entry, and $10 for each additional entry. Non-members: $50 for first entry, and $10 for each additional entry.

SELECTION NOTIFICATION DATE

Thursday, November 3rd, 2017 by email. Award winners are announced at the Friday, November 3rd opening reception.

EXHIBITION GUIDELINES

< >All work much be original and not previously exhibited at Pacific Art League.All 2D work must be ready to hang on a wire.All 2D work must be framed or on gallery -wrapped canvas with finished edges.Size of work is limited to 40” wide by 50” tall, including frame.
