A series of creative dance sessions focusing on building confidence in dance by experimenting with making movement. Classes will involve a variety of activities both led by the facilitator and through individual creative opportunities for participants. Sessions will champion physical activity, creativity, social inclusion, friendship, and teamwork within a safe and supportive environment. Please note, support from a guardian/support worker is advised to participate.
There will be 4 weekly creative dance sessions lasting 40 minutes each. The classes will be available via Vimeo from September for you to access in your own time. This can be done as a group in a communal area of your centre or individually at home.
As this is a funded project it is completely FREE for all. We aim to offer a fun way of exploring dance and movement whilst encouraging activity, exercise and creativity.
