Opening:
Saturday, 4 June 2022 - 7:00pm

Marking the closing moments of ME 2 U: A collective manifesto, culinary collective Kazhi, Dashti, and Roxy invite you to their mehmooni.

In an evening dedicated to joy, eating, and being in community with each other, the trio will transform the Nunnery Café with live entertainment and a feast drawing upon elements of Kurdish and Persian cultural heritage.

More details on the menu to be released soon!

15% of ticket proceeds will be IKWRO – a charity working with Middle Eastern, North African, and Afghan women and girls living in the UK, who have experienced, or are at risk of all forms of “honour” based abuse.

This is also a chance to view ME 2 U: A collective manifesto after hours as part of Whitechapel Gallery’s First Thursdays, with the Nunnery Café serving drinks and snacks throughout the evening.

As food will be prepared by a very small and busy team, please be aware that we are not able to cater to any specific dietary requirements or allergies.
