This course will cover a range of ceramic decorative techniques including slip decoration, under-glazing, working with oxides, transfers and decals as well as slab-building and making objects in clay on which to decorate. There will also be time for participants to work more in-depth on a method of their choice in the latter half of the course to allow space for tuition in how to incorporate a combination of techniques on individual projects. This course is suitable for beginner and would be of particular benefit to artists looking to understand ceramic decoration.
