Whether you are a complete beginner or already writing, why not try one or both of these taster Creative Writing afternoons led by local writer and experienced tutor Sue Wilsea? Each session will provide triggers / stimuli for whatever form you favour: prose (fiction or non-fiction), poetry or script. The emphasis will be on producing crafted pieces of writing in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where each participant can progress at her / his own pace. Access to professional 1-1 support outside the session time is included.

Sue’s work is with words, whether that’s writing, performing or teaching. Her fiction and poetry has been widely published and broadcast with her first collection of short stories, Staying Afloat, being published by Valley Press in 2012 and her second Raw Material in November 2016. In 2014 she gained an MA in Creative Writing (Distinction ) from Newcastle University. As a freelance Arts practitioner Sue currently delivers Creative Writing classes and undertakes a wide range of writing / literature based projects. She has four grown-up children, lives with her husband in North Lincolnshire and buys too many books and earrings.
