This exhibition, presented during a time of near international lock- down, takes the viewer out of confinement to look through the eyes of a group of artists, each of who have produced a significant body of work capturing ways that space shapes and is shaped by life. The additional critical text, contained within this exhibition catalogue, challenges us to think about changing notions of space, and perhaps what space will be like on the other side of today’s crisis.
(31) contemporary artists from across the UK, Germany, Spain, Czech Republic, France, The Netherlands, Australia and America have come together to show multiple different impressions of space and place in this exhibition. Its curation stems from a personal passion for documenting places in flux, and of forming an anthropology of temporary visual culture and landscape.
