City:

Categories:

Date:
Friday, 27 April 2018

Hosted by Eleanor McDowall.

'The most interesting things just fell out of the sky…'

Radio Atlas returns to Frames of Representation to present two subtitled audio works in which women travel in their imaginations - returning to landscapes from their past or escaping into audio adventures.

The short feature Colette's Podcasts (La Reine du Podcast) accompanies Camp Sisterhood (Soeurs de Camp), in which three women share memories of their time in a French concentration camp.

'If we didn't look after ourselves, we were done for.'

Soeurs de Camp (Camp Sisterhood), ARTE Radio, 2013, 28 mins
La Reine du Podcast (Colette's Podcasts), ARTE Radio, 2014, 17 mins

Followed by a panel discussion with Nina Perry and Iain Chambers, both composers and radio producers, about landscape in audio.
