The Brick Lane Gallery is excited to invite you to the Autumn edition of Works on Paper, an exhibition featuring a selection of both self taught and professional artists from across the world including representation from Argentina, Italy, Spain Switzerland, USA and the UK. Unveiling the unique opportunities offered by the texture, familiarity and vivacity of paper, the artists explore different themes and techniques offering us a wide variety of artworks from watercolours and inks to drawings and prints.

Ceci Dillon’s work is quite autobiographical as it comes from her oneiric world most of the times. She is mainly concerned about the figure of the woman (with its different phases), birds (which represent her idea of freedom), and mountains or deserted landscapes (to express loneliness). Quite often her pieces turn out a bit surreal and she must admit she likes that aesthetic. Challenging us to question technology and its impact in human relationships, Jeremy Clayton explores themes surrounding both his personal experiences and his interpretation of the human experience in the context of contemporary society.

You are warmly welcome to join us for a drink with the artists at the opening night of WORKS ON PAPER at The Brick Lane Gallery – The Annexe open from 6pm-8.30pm on Wednesday 28th October 2015.
