The Kei London Visual Art Agency is thrilled to announce its inaugural participation in the London Art Fair 2025, a significant milestone as it marks the first time an art agency has been featured in this esteemed event. The exhibition, titled "Modern Encounters with the Archaic," will showcase the remarkable works of artist Andrew Gow within the Encounters section, expertly curated by Pryle Behrman. Set to run from January 22 to 26, 2025, this exhibition invites attendees to engage with a unique fusion of historical and contemporary narratives, fostering deep reflection and conversation.

Andrew Gow's artistry draws inspiration from the intricate relationship between ancient mythological and religious iconography and the contemporary landscape. By incorporating elements from Northern European Renaissance altarpieces and timeless mythologies, Gow transforms these traditional symbols to critique and mirror modern existence. His work cleverly contrasts the ancient with the contemporary, encouraging viewers to contemplate the complexities, values, and contradictions of today's society. Andrew Gow’s creations are housed in private collections, corporate boardrooms, esteemed academic institutions, and even the Apostolic Palace in the Vatican City.

The Encounters section, under the curation of Pryle Behrman, is dedicated to artworks that amalgamate unexpected concepts, styles, or cultural narratives. Gow's paintings exemplify this vision, intertwining age-old imagery with modern themes to foster a dynamic dialogue between historical and current contexts. His insightful creations challenge audiences to explore the enduring connections and tensions that resonate across different eras.

Kei London Visual Art Agency is proud to present this captivating exhibition, providing visitors with an immersive experience that highlights art's transformative power. As a first-time participant in the London Art Fair, Kei London aims to inspire new discussions, provoke thought, and cultivate significant relationships within the art community.
