An exhibition to showcase work made this year by ten students from across courses at University of the Arts London. Works range from painting, sculpture, photography, video and illustration.
Artists include Anna Dakin and Summer Oxley, founders of the Philosophy Society, and curators of the exhibition. Oxley has a strong interest in kitsch aesthetics and publicly accessible artwork, with a focus on fun and interesting imagery. Her work explores a variety of subject matter, which she expresses by painting and editing found objects. Dakin takes inspiration from the universe and consciousness to make abstract paintings and analogue films. She is interested in the balance of the universe and works by bringing out colour from abstract forms.
