London artist Minju Kim presents her first solo show - Anatomy of Desire - a collection of the artist’s key works spanning from 2012 to present day and explores the human body and desire translated in a distinct visual language and its relation to life and death

Anatomy of Desire, a new exhibition, brings together over 60 key works from the artist in a range of media including painting, sculpture, photography, print and drawing. Among the works presented are recent series such as The Living Torso (2017-2018), four photographs of a male and female body on which Kim directly painted, as well as Mechanical Flesh (2018), a series of paintings where the image of the inner body is translated into sophisticated linear patterns and surfaces.  Other highlights of the show include Womb to Tomb (2017) in which resin and glue sticks are woven into a female body as well as Torso(2013-2018), a symmetric image of a painted mannequin torso which is digitally printed and mounted on a lightbox.  The exhibition also showcases prints and drawings from the artist’s archives which have never been previously exhibited.

Anatomy of Desire is Kim's  first major solo show and will feature over 60 works.
