London Art Biennale GOING AHEAD with no social restrictions at the end of June

The London Art Biennale 2021 is one of the first exhibitions to open its doors since the lockdowns, taking place from Wednesday 30th June until Sunday 4th July at the majestic Chelsea Old Town Hall on King’s Road, Chelsea. Zero restrictions on visitor numbers are anticipated as rules on social distancing are relaxed.

Approximately 450 selected contemporary artists include: 
168 artists from Europe (considered geographically but excluding UK)
73 from the UK
68 from North America
63 from South/East Asia
34 artists from the Middle East (including xx artists from Iran)
27 from South America
14 from Africa
5 from Oceania

The exhibition spans across all artistic movements and geographical locations; thus viewers are able to appreciate artworks from all cultures, styles, ideas and artistic expressions that represent the art world in its global entirety. Thousands of artist applications were received worldwide. Prizes for artists include £11,000 of cash prizes and much more.

The London Art Biennale is a museum-quality award exhibition curated by Gagliardi Gallery in conjunction with the International Confederation of Art Critics and the Chianciano Art Museum. 

It is the London Art Biennale tradition to give help to people in need. Over the years, tens of thousands of pounds have been raised and donated to Rotary International’s “End Polio Now” Charity, the Salvation Army, London’s Air Ambulance and Age UK. In this 5th edition of the London Art Biennale, there will be a charity raffle in which, as always, 100% of all money raised will go to the charities. Raffle Prizes will include some very exciting items such as an original artwork by Ludovic Rodo Pissarro 1878 – 1952. The London Art Biennale will award ninety artists from the selection with one of the six different types of prizes and awards offered.
