We're hosting our popular life drawing classes throughout June and July which offer a unique opportunity to experience life drawing within the intimate setting of the gallery. In June we'll also also host our innovative iPad Art classes. Led by experienced digital artist and tutor, Paul Kercal, participants will explore a range of styli, paint apps and photograph manipulation to produce their own digital masterpieces.

Families are always welcome and our free weekend and holiday events offer an exciting range of art activities to engage children and parents alike. Explore our current exhibition, No Set Rules, with a choice of two family Sunday events in May and July, featuring a children’s learning trail and exciting art activity.

May will also host a special, one-off family event to celebrate and explore Ben Uri’s collaborative exhibition with the Royal College of Music, Arts in Harmony. Join their learning team to explore the links between history and music as you create your own songs!

Visit the RCM Museum of Music for an exciting family workshop as we follow the migration of émigré artists and musicians who settled in the UK during and after WW1.
Explore musical life at that time, looking at how cultures came together to celebrate their own music and art and experimented with new ideas. Taking inspiration from the museum’s Arts in Harmony temporary exhibition, you’ll also create our own songs and music. All musical abilities are welcome and if you play your own instrument we would love you to bring it along. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
