“ITALIAN METHOD 2”. TWENTY ITALIAN ARTISTS DISPLAY THEIR WORK AT THE BRICK LANE GALLERY IN LONDON 

Figurative art, in its numerous interpretations, is the fil rouge of this exhibition to open on Tuesday, February 4th. 

On Tuesday, February 4th at 6 pm at the Brick Lane Gallery ( 196 Brick Ln , London E1 5SA ) in London, the “Italian Method 2” exhibition will be inaugurated, curated by the art critic Silvia Arfelli and organized by the art event agency “La Maya Desnuda” based in Forlì (Italy). The exhibition - with the participation of twenty artists, mainly painters, from all over Italy - will be opened to the public until February, 17th.

After the exhibitions organized in the past years in Paris and Berlin, at the Galerie de l'Europe and Reuss Galerie respectiely, this is the launch of the third phase of a project -which takes its inspiration from the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy- in which figurative art is the only unifying Language between artists from different regions of Italy, as well as the direct Heritage of the great history of Italian art, the influence of which is still part today of contemporary artists’ DNA. 

Going Beyond the most obvious interpretation of the concept of unification, the project consisted in displaying the works of Italian artists in Paris ( 2011) , Berlin ( 2012-2013 ) and London in 2014, to then conclude the tour in Brussels in 2015 in the Institutional Headquarters of the European Union, to show the work of Italian artists which can look at a dialogue between citizens and cultures and go Beyond the Europe of the economy and of bankers.
