67 York Street Gallery is delighted to present a solo exhibition of contemporary artist Catriona Wood's latest works, featuring original pieces from her captivating seascape and floral series. The exhibition will also showcase brand new work fresh from her studio, making their public debut at this show.
Based in south-west London, Wood draws profound inspiration from the natural world, translating its beauty and complexity into vibrant acrylic paintings. Her artistic journey began with an art and design foundation diploma at Falmouth University, followed by a Graphic Design degree from Edinburgh University and Massachusetts College of Art & Design in Boston. After five years as a management consultant in London, Wood made the bold decision in 2024 to leave corporate life behind and pursue her passion for painting full-time.
In just a short time, Wood has established herself on the London and Surrey gallery scene, with her work now finding homes across England, Scotland, France, Spain, the USA, and Australia. Her distinctive style and nature-focused themes have attracted both gallery exhibitions and private commissions, including recent work for a client in Sydney.
This exhibition offers a unique opportunity to experience Wood's evolving artistic vision and acquire original paintings and limited edition prints from this rising talent.

Catriona is a London based contemporary artist, inspired by nature. Following her art & design foundation diploma at Falmouth University (Cornwall), and her Graphic Design degree at Edinburgh University and Massachusetts College of Art & Design in Boston, USA, she worked as a management consultant for 5 years in London. However, unhappy in the city, feeling uninspired and unfulfilled at the end of each day, she quit corporate life to pursue her passion for painting full time in 2024.
Catriona’s studio is based in south-west London. She exhibits across galleries in Surrey and London in solo and group shows, where she sells her original acrylic paintings and limited edition prints. Catriona also takes commissions, most recently completing a painting for a client in Sydney. Her artwork is now in homes across England, Scotland, France, Spain, USA and Australia.
