This year marks the silver anniversary of Somerset Artworks Festival and we're very pleased to be one of the 160 venues taking part. We have a variety of work across media (painting, sculpture, ceramic and printmaking) from some of our favourite gallery artists including Paul Wadsworth, Lynne Cartlidge, Melissa Kiernan, Peter Wills and Mick Morgan.

Melissa Kiernan works with paper thin porcelain fired at extreme temperature. Her sculpture explores the vulnerability of human existence through material matter drawing largely from medieval art and biblical allegory. Kiernan gained her BA (Hons) in Ceramics at the University of the West of England. She lives and works in Somerset.
