Sculptural Glass with Siobhan Healy

Dates: 6pm – 8.30pm on Mondays (29 August, 5, 12, 19 September) 2016
Price: £160 (Includes all materials, use of tools and specialist machinery)

This four-week course is an introduction to using glass as a sculptural material. Participants will be introduced to several methods of joining glass to create 3D glass using lead; solder; soldering irons; wire and epoxy glue in combination with the Copperfoil method will be the primary technique. Participants will also have access to clear, coloured and textured glass and will learn how to cut glass and combine it with metal to create expressive sculptural forms.

– No prior experience necessary
– Participants must be a minimum 16 years of age

Class sizes are limited to ensure individual attention, access to equipment, and the opportunity for discussion so booking is essential.
