Colorful October in Tuscany is the time of grapes and olives...and IUGTE International Performing Arts Camp is opening its doors
to performers from all continents!
IUGTE Performing Arts Camp is the international residential workshop for performing arts practitioners from different countries working in various techniques, genres and styles. The program is open to dancers, choreographers, actors and contemporary circus performers with professional stage experience, multidisciplinary artists passionate and inspired by movement, dance and physical theatre, interested in practical research of contemporary performance practice together with colleagues from all over the world.
The camp is based at the XII century Monastery in Italy, famous for being the place of seclusion for such outstanding figure as Dante Alighieri. The program offers the unique time and space for meeting new friends, refreshing creative ideas, generating new creative initiatives and collaboration with like-minded arts people.
The Artistic Director of the program is the theatre director, choreographer and teacher, Sergei Ostrenko. During the program participants will have opportunity to explore Ostrenko method of performer's physical training and rehearsal, based on the methods of Stanislavsky, M.Chekhov, principles of Meyerhold's Biomechanics, Tai Chi and contact improvisation.
