THE FLOW - Marko Gavrilovic

We are excited to announce a new exhibition in Paris. Contemporary artist Marko Gavrilovic will present his new works from Urban City and Bulls series as well as latest light installations in vivid colorful spectra. If you are in Paris, do not miss it and visit us at Galerie Boris.

"There is a Flow of things, a line that connects everything and everyone. When viewers look at my works, I want them to dive deeper and participate in the narrative, because the artwork is precisely that, the invisible connection between us. If we simplify all this, we will see that everything is on one line, the past, the present and the future. So if that line is actually a part of an ancient flow, we will maybe find out that through our creative process, we can go consciously or unconsciously over time, and collect some kind of data and knowledge absolutely unaware of it."

The complexity of this exhibition is reflected in the work of the author, who tries to link different media and techniques into one by seeking the connection between nature, and the city as a civilization product. How to show the power of nature, if not through this energy and tension that happens below the surface?

Elements that levitate on his paintings are fractions of an overall image and represent traces of man's action on the body of nature on some, on others, they represent "a universal knowledge" carried by the wind or torrential power.
