Suzy Johnson exhibition idea to create a series of beadworks inspired by four elements of life was born out of daily inspiration that can come any time, from anywhere. Earth, Wind (Sky), Water and Fire are the beginning and end of each design in her new collection.

I've been a beader for over 30 years, a result of my love of jewelry and my lack of painting ability! I "paint" the world around me with gemstone beads. I grew up with 2 talented parents. My father was a professional musician with perfect pitch and my mother was a Ballet dancer. I'm a great appreciator of most all of the arts, and I've owner and operated several art galleries in the past. I loved to feature emerging artists in our galleries, and especially those who celebrated being stewards of our planet Earth.
I'm a proud mom and grandmother and strive to find ways to make this world a better place. Whether it's through my organic gardening, creating Blessing Bundles with my dried flowers and herbs, canning the beautiful fresh harvests, or creating this beautiful gemstone jewelry, I want to make something beautiful that makes someone happy.
