How many exhibition works:
Flowers, Quilts & Mandalas, an international online solo painting exhibition by Kisma K. Reidling, opens on February 10, 2023, and will continue through March 12, 2023.
Kisma is an author, a quilter and enjoy creating whatever draws her to it but the paint and the brush are a staple. She believes that we all are earth stewards, and anyway to help shift another persons attention to mama earth and the beauty of nature is a priority! Without her, there would be no life.

I paint what I see inside as an echo of what I see or experience or feel in the outer world. I love creating in art journals, making altered book art journals, and taking my creations from the page to the canvas... and on occasion from the canvas to the page! My creative journey is based in watercolors but has taken me into so many mediums that I believe I love acrylics the most. I am also an author of 15 books, currently writing the sixth and final volume for my Faery-Chronicles novel series.
For several years I have called myself a visionary mixed media artist until recently, when I was informed by a very prestige art center that I painted Representational Art. I had to look up what that meant! Silly me! The bottom line is, I create for the joy of self-expression and am always honored and surprised when people embrace it. Trees, Leaves, Flowers! Yes. We are earth stewards, all of us and anyway to help shift another persons attention to mama earth and the beauty of nature is a priority! Without her, there would be no life. Ode to Mama.
