Gallery70 is delighted to present a new solo exhibition of the works of the Albanian sculpture Arben Bajo. This exhibition focuses on recent works of the artist, completed during the last 20 years .
Arben Bajo is born in Gjirokaster , Albania in 1967. He started modeling forms and sculptures at the Academy of Arts in Tirana, where he studied from 1987 to 1991 . Arben Bajo is recognized for his figurative art
In this exhibition , he presents works in bronze, cooper and plaster is small and monumental format. Human figures, children, animals, mythological figures, daily life scenes provide him a reason to explore and create.
Arben Bajo has presented his art in solo and group exhibitions, in Albania and abroad. His artworks are part of institutions and private collection. He has been commissioned for many public art sculptures, the latest being the sculpture dedicated to the renown singer Vace Zela.
Kindly note that depending on the Corona Virus situation this Autumn, we are planning an onsite exhibition with the presence of the artists in Tirana. Currently Gallery space in Tirana is open by appointment only. In accordance with government guidelines, only two visitors will be allowed inside the exhibition space at a time.
