Description:
This drawing was done with a rapidograph pen and gouache paints. I like to draw on found images of old transportational advertising such as the postcard here. I like to have an interplay with the original image as it influences where I lay down my first line. Sometimes I will obscure the image other times I will highlight it to give the viewer the feeling of it jumping off the page.
