Called “a poet of the ordinary” by the Los Angeles Times and featured in the Portrayal/Betrayal exhibition, Keith Carter speaks about his career as a photographer,―from taking over his mother’s portrait business in the early 80s―to the personal, and world renowned, projects centering on small Texas towns, landscapes, portraits, and still-lifes.
