Eveline Kotai was awarded for her work "Thrum #2" with the Gerry Gauntlett Award, a $5,000 non-acquisitive prize.
Some of WA’s most acclaimed artists have been awarded top prizes as part of the 2013 Minnawarra Art Awards. Judges Belinda Cobby from Artbank and Isobel Wise, Art Curator for the City of Perth, were extremely impressed with the professionalism of the space and exhibition.
In Addition Eveline Kotai will take part in the exhibition "Abstracting the Collection", 27 July – 28 September 2013, in the Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery, which is housing The University of Western Australia Art Collection.
