gallery km is now Klowden Mann. We are excited to announce our move from our original Santa Monica location to a new space in Culver City. The gallery will reopen as Klowden Mann in our new Washington Blvd. location on September 7, 2013, with the opening reception for Pretty Limber, our first solo show by Los Angeles-based artist Bettina Hubby.  The exhibition will feature an integration of various elements of Hubby's practice. founded in her collage work, and presented as individual works on paper, large scale vinyl cutouts, and fabric pieces. Hubby's work in Pretty Limber approaches the way in which physical bodies interact with and define space, and the various levels of ritual used to define the construction of identity. The pieces range from small-scale collages sandwiched between plexiglass to larger-than-life mounted vinyl forms traversing the gallery walls. The gallery will host a reception for the artist on Saturday, September 7th, from 6-8pm, and as well as an October launch for a publication of Hubby's collages by Iceplant Press.
