Fragments: The Art of Collage and Assemblage

Arts Benicia announces an exciting new summer exhibition juried by Sacramentobased
artist Robert-Jean Ray. Ray's small format drawings, collage and mixed media pieces have been exhibited in galleries throughout the United States. He has contributed illustrations to numerous publications; collaborates with various artists, writers and performers; conducts artistic development workshops and curates exhibitions for art galleries and public institutions.

means of getting from point to the next, in an effort to break free from academic constraints. Today, as
