Blurred Borders is an exhibition founded by three photographers working in the documentary, fashion and fine art field who want to shed light on the printed image as a physical object and explore new ways of displaying photography.
Caught in a net of digital information, borders of traditional photography have become blurred. Tactile romanticism and the splendour of the printed image are often forgotten. Using both old and new techniques, the artists explore new ways of perceiving a photograph while turning the photographic medium inside out.
Kovi Konowiecki
After pursuing a career in football, Kovi brings a unique perspective to the photography world. His work lies between documentary and fine art photography, often focusing on portraiture and telling stories that reveal his identity. Kovi’s photographs are also largely driven by his experiences of growing up in Los Angeles.
Roos van de Kieft
Roos is a photographer from the Netherlands. Fascinated by the experience of our physical selves and the way human bodies create space, Roos creates dynamic, evocative photographs. Her moving forms bring a new dimension to (fashion) imagery, encouraging viewers to experience each shot from different angles.
Otto Masters
Otto's captivating imagery blends fashion, portraiture, fine art, and documentary photography. He is currently working in collaboration with fine artist 'The Line Girl' to explore the notions of the human form and the relationship this holds with the physical environment.
