Classifed Rate and Deadline Information
Classified ads run on the pages of Artweek, and
on the World Wide Web--at no extra charge. You'll reach Artweek's
50,000+ readers throughout the country plus a substantial number
of artists who use the Web to search for job openings, studio
space, supplies, competitions, etc.
Rates: $8 per line, per issue. Two line minimum.
There are approximately 30 characters per line, spaces and punctuation
count as characters. Bold type is $2 additional per word. Payment
must accompany order.
Deadline: 1st of the month prior to issue date
(first week of August for the September issue, etc.).
*** PLEASE NOTE: The deadline has passed to get
an ad into the printed version of the July/August issue of Artweek,
however, you can still submit your ad copy to be posted on-line
for the month.***

City of Fullerton is seeking proposals for two public art projects
in downtown Fullerton.
SoCo Pedestrian Walkway. Outdoor mural 18' x 66' in historic downtown
area.
Materials may include paint, mosaic, or any other durable, low maintenance
media. Deadline for proposals is Aug. 25.
Lemon Street Overpass. Outdoor mural on a railway overpass leading
into historic downtown Fullerton measuring 100' x 3'. The work should
reflect that Fullerton has been designated “The Education Community.”
Lettering will be strongly considered. Deadline for proposals is Monday,
Aug. 25

Stanford University
The Department of Art & Art History at Stanford University seeks
to make an appointment of a painter at the level of Full Professor.
Candidates should have exceptional credentials as an artist and teacher,
with a distinguished national and international exhibition record
and a strong commitment to teaching painting and drawing. The successful
candidate will be expected to provide leadership in the Art Practice
program at the undergraduate and graduate level, and to participate
fully in the work of the department.
